Sonya is an experienced commercial property lawyer, with experience in all aspects of property law, with a particular emphasis on acquisitions and disposals.
Sonya joined TBB in March 2021 and has over 12 years’ experience with top tier firms advising clients on all areas of property law.
Sonya has a wide range of experience and has regularly advised both domestic and global clients on a range of property matters including commercial property acquisitions, disposals, due diligence investigations (both for vendors and purchasers), leasing and property development. Sonya also regularly advises clients on their Overseas Investment Act eligibility and applications.
Sonya also has particular experience in forestry (including forestry rights and Crown Forestry Licences) as well as viticulture and dairy farm acquisitions and disposals.
