Are you a Trust Accountant looking for a change? Thompson Blackie Biddles is looking for a skilled and organised Trust Accountant to provide 12 months maternity leave cover at the beginning of August.
You have high quality corporate office experience, ideally in a professional services environment, including financial and trust accounting experience. You have solid software package experience (ideally InfinityLaw) and quick and accurate keyboarding and excel skills. Your attention to detail is second to none and you have a genuine desire to provide the highest quality external and internal client service. You remain calm and unflustered when under pressure.
The role involves undertaking daily trust accounting including inputting bank statements into InfinityLaw, bank reconciliation, trust account(s) certification, receipting, processing payments including IBD withdrawals and deposits, processing quarterly interest, arranging increased trust account limits as and when required, processing write-offs, transfers, journals and the like, arranging director authorization, transaction input following processing, drafting and sending reporting statements and Resident Withholding Tax certificates.
